NIMR Oil successfully performed CT Deployed DAS/DTS & E-line CT
NIMR Oil, with its technical Partner, had successfully performed two combined offshore Coiled Tubing Deployed DAS/DTS & E-line CT simultaneously by a high-tech Hybrid cable which enables us to perform DAS/DTS logging and PLT logging with any wireline tool simultaneously.
The DAS/DTS logging improves reservoir understanding. It helps take the right decision on-site to increase the Well productivity and identify well integrity abnormalities.
The following combined plot shows DAS extracted acoustic activities turned into a production profile percentage, alongside DAS frequency spectrum and DTS traces.
A. During the flowing period, it could be noticed that the deepest GLM was continuously active. This effect can be seen as cool in the DTS traces and strong high-frequency acoustics in the DAS frequency spectrum.
B. DAS acoustic activity shows slightly homogeneous activity levels from 8100ft to 8850ft. Higher activity levels can be seen from 7170ft to 8100ft.
C. Around 45% of the detected acoustics can be found in the production interval 1 [7170ft to 7615ft]. Which can show more B production/length coming from this interval.
